Plainstack FixedSync
Support
Set up fixed market pricing rules and understand every step from Preview to rollback.
Getting started
- Install Plainstack FixedSync and choose the Standard plan or trial on Shopify’s hosted pricing page.
- Confirm the target Market has a catalog and price list.
- Add a dedicated product tag to the products the rule should manage.
- Create a rule, Preview the result, and Apply only after reviewing each calculated price.
Pricing rules
A rule connects one exact product tag to one Market, catalog, and price list. The configured factor multiplies each matching variant’s Shopify base price. Keep rule tags specific. The app blocks enabled rules that would write different prices to the same variant and price list.
Rounding
Choose no ending adjustment, nearest .99, nearest .95, or supported whole-number steps. Rounding follows the target currency’s supported decimal precision. Unsupported currencies or incompatible ending rules fail before Shopify is changed.
Preview and Apply
Preview shows the base amount, factor, raw result, rounding rule, final fixed amount, existing price origin, and difference. Apply recalculates from current Shopify data instead of trusting an earlier Preview. Every write is re-queried and verified.
Auto Sync
Auto Sync responds to product creation and product updates for enabled rules. Durable jobs perform a fresh subscription check, load current product data, check for conflicts, calculate with the same engine as Preview, write the intended fixed price, and verify the result. A global emergency switch can stop all automatic work without affecting manual history.
History and rollback
Application history records Apply, Auto Sync, and rollback outcomes. Rollback removes a fixed override when none existed before Apply, or restores the exact previous fixed amount when one did exist. If Shopify state has changed unexpectedly, the app stops instead of overwriting it again.
Billing
Plans, trials, renewals, and cancellation are managed through Shopify App Pricing. A subscription scheduled to cancel remains eligible until Shopify reports that its trial or current billing cycle has ended. When no active entitlement exists, new paid operations and worker mutations are blocked.
Privacy
The app does not request customer or order scopes. Read the full Privacy Policy for merchant data, uninstall, and deletion behavior.
